{ Scrapbook Circle February kit–Story time }

I know I haven’t shared the rest of my projects made with this wonderful kit. We still have some left in our store.

We have a new feature on our blog called Be Real where we use Instagram photos to record our day to day moments. You can read more about this layout on Scrapbook Circle blog.

Hello today by Daniela Dobson

Yesterday I posted on the Scrapbook Circle blog using quotes as titles. I fell in love with this quote I found on Pinterest. I used that as my title.

Last weekend, our first Scrapbook Expo was happening, here in town, and I was able to work at DeNami Design booth. What a wonderful little family to work with. I loved my two days with them. I was able to make cards and demo some of their new stamps and products. Nami was very generous and gave me some stamps to give away to my blog readers!!!! I will have the giveaway here on my blog next week!! In the mean time check out their store. They have a wonderful publication incentive.

Have a great Thursday!

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–what is your hobby }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – what is your hobby.
Our challenge starts today, February 21, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, February 27, at 10 PM.
Create a new card using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between February 21-27. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.
I have too many hobbies to count, but I wanted to create a page about my new hobby – knitting. I taught myself how to knit, from a book, on our way to Arizona last November.
Here is my layout.
New hobby by Daniela Dobson
I printed two Instagram photos. They are 2.5” and fit perfectly in the frame from Picture Frames CL430 stamp set. I used Herringbone background stamp under the photos. After I inked the stamp I wiped off the edges so I don’t get that sharp, straight edge look. The date is from Months stamp set.

If you love arrows, like me, you will love Arrows CL461 stamp set. If you follow my blog and have a Silhouette Cameo, you might remember these arrows I designed. Well, those arrows are stamps today, thanks to Mitra and Impression Obsession. There are plenty to choose from.
I used You Are Amazing CL424 stamp set to stamp “be yourself” repeatedly down the page. The little hearts are our new Heart Stem Die. Love!!! I added some triangles and a chevron circle from Chevrons CS460 stamp set, that I designed, as well. I added sequins and some color shine across the page.

I created this little treat bag using 'xo' heart and banner on a curve.

XOXO treat bag Daniela Dobson

I resized the ‘xo’ heart to 2”. Then, in the offset window I offset the xo heart by .25. I cut the heart shape from Kraft cardstock, and xo heart from white cardstock.

Step 1 Daniela Dobson

After I cut the xo heart I sprayed it with Heidi Swapp color shine.

After I cut the banner on a curve from white cardstock I sprayed it with color shine, as well. I added two pattern paper pieces to the banner.

I added a doily and a ribbon to the glassine bag.

I scored the heart at 1/8” intervals so it looks corrugated. I adhered the two pieces together and adhered them to the bag using 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web.

I added a button with twine to the ribbon bow and two pins.

{ February Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday }

Welcome to our February Studio AE Blog Hop.
Today we are featuring projects made with the Studio AE - Super Fantastic - February 2013.

Here is my layout.

Love you by Daniela Dobson

I positioned three sentiments on a block and stamped them in the middle of the page, repeatedly, starting from the bottom. I wrote “love” on patterned paper with a pencil and cut it out and erased the lines. I could have used my Silhouette since I do have several words in my handwriting, this just seemed faster at the moment. I used a part of a sentiment “love you” in my journaling.
The arrow is from Beautiful by Ali Edwards stamp set.

I am using some of the new products that are available at Emma’s Paperie. Basic Grey, Studio Calico, Pretty Little Studio, Bo Bunny, Pebbles Inc.

***Make sure you check out all the blogs because we are giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to Technique Tuesday. That means you can get anything you want.***
The winners will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on the 13th.
